We can’t speak to the curb appeal of many of the restaurants we love around here. And in the end, it’s the food we care about. But The Mansion WINS when it comes to atmosphere- inside and out.
One look at this restaurant and you’ll know what we mean. The most beautiful, white Victorian house covered in thick, tropical greenery. Multi-colored, vintage street lights that give off a magical rainbow glow at night. Rooftop dining. Large covered patio seating. It just feels special the moment you set foot on the grounds.
And the food holds its own. The menu is traditional American with a Florida twist. Lots of seafood, but definitely something for everyone, of any age.
Here’s a peek at the menu:
We started off with the BBQ Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp for the appetizer, served with a white cheddar corn cake. A fantastic starter:
I chose the Ahi Tuna Tacos and Tyler went with the special that day (always a good idea) – a Korean Teriyaki Burger.
Tyler’s burger was the clear winner for us. The tacos were solidly good, but that burger was hard to compete with. Also—the sweet potato waffle fries on the side were incredible!!! They honestly commanded a lot of attention for just being a casual side item. Served with a bleu cheese ranch sauce for dipping—highly recommend the this!
We couldn’t NOT get a Key Lime pie at a Floridian joint like this – this monster slice was every bit as thick and creamy as we hoped.
It’s always a pleasure at this Melbourne must-do! Thank you to The Mansion for a delightful meal and for being a staple to the local food scene in Brevard.
